For this project, the state machine has 4 inputs, 2 state variables and 4 outputs. The 4 inputs are the open switch, the close switch, the open limit and the closed limit. The 2 state variables are Qa and Qb. The 4 outputs are motor open, motor closed, gate open and gate closed. We are simulating a toll booth that goes up and then come backs down when the switch activates or the other way around.

Conclusion
To start the project we were given a packet that had a description/picture of what we needed to build. First, I created our state graph for the project in order to make the rest of the steps. After we built the state graph we moved on to the transition table. I had forgotten how to do the transition table so I had to go back and watch mrs.zientys video on how to do the truth table. This project was similar to the other projects that we did because of our multisim implementation and because of the CMOD chip. This project was very similar to the copy jam project because it was a real life situation and we had to develop everything on our own. This project was different from some of our other ones because it used transition tables, state graph, and state machines. While doing this project, I learned how to build a more complicated breadboard and be able to implement it to function as a toll booth. Through the year the projects did get harder and more advanced since we had to use all the knowledge we had just learned and also because we didn't have our teacher with us. Basically, each project built on the last and became more and more complicated/complex. We are still using concepts we learned in the beginning of the year but they are much more advanced now and we had to implement them with the new things we have learned this year.
