Activity 3.1.1
Activity 3.1.2
3.1.2 part 4
Activity 3.1.3
3.1.3 part 6
Activity 3.1.4
Conclusion
3.1.1
1. Describe how these motors and sensors may be used.
The motors and sensors could be used in robotics, moving robots based on commands and the environment around them
2. Describe scenarios where the motors or sensors did not respond as you would predict.
sometimes the motors would move in the wrong direction, but that was because i forgot to put negatives in
3.1.2
1. Describe any challenges that you encountered while developing the program.
I had trouble understanding at first, but once i got the hang of it i didn't have much issues
2. Describe how these outputs might be used in an application.
they could be used in factories where belts/motors run for a certain period of time and then stop
3.1.3
1. Describe any challenges that you encountered while developing the program.
commenting was hard, and the dark and light density's were hard to understand at first
2. Describe three applications for the use of sensors that you worked with in this activity.
Linefollower could be used for a robot to follow a track/belt/line, the potentiometer could be used in degrees such as thermostats, and the encoder could be used like a stopwatch in which it runs for only a certain period of time and then stops
3.1.4
1. Describe any challenges that you encountered while developing the programs.
commenting got even harder, but that was because the commands were more complex
2. Describe one application each for While loops and If-Else structures.
You could have a light come on with a light sensor
3.1.5
1. Describe any challenges that you encountered while developing the program.
It was making sure i had the right values and fixing errors once i reopened the programs after i saved them the day before
2. Describe applications for variables and functions.
variables can be used if certain criteria is met like if a sonar detects sound greater than or less than 1000 than the robot will move
3.1.6
I was unable to finish 3.1.6 because i ran out of time and it was not a weebly requirement
