Problem Statement
Most people in our local area get tired of walking in public places and may even just get tired of waiting at a bus stop or train stop, but sometimes there is no seat available for them. In our survey, 95% of people admitted that this has been a problem for them at some point.
Reflection
When we first started this project, we had a hard time deciding what our problem should be. At first, we were thinking of doing a problem related to fishing, such as losing your fishing rod or getting your fishing line tangled, but later on we did a little more research hoping to find something better. We found lots of other problems, but one that stood out for us was the problem we have now which is not having a seat available for you in public places. We created a decision matrix and figured out that the fishing problem and our current problem were our top choices, however we decided to do our current problem because we figured that it was a problem that more people have experienced. Due to our research and our survey that we created, 95% of people said that this is a problem worth solving.
